BACKGROUD INFORMATION;
Over the last twelve months the DDSL have been working on the implementation of a strategy for the development of underage football - across both girls and boys divisions. Investments have been made in technology and resources (the DDSL had been solely volunteer led until this year). Progress to date has been very positive and we anticipate that clubs such as ours will significantly benefit from the changes being implemented from a structural, operational and player/talent development perspective. Clearly investment costs money and the DDSL are looking to it's player community for support - we are the beneficiaries. In the spirit of transparency, we are sharing with you where your 30 euro registration fees go.
We will help this year by providing a 10 euro credit to your fees as we believe as a club we may generate some savings. Note, it will be a number of months of adopting these new processes before DDSL clubs will fully understand the commercial implications on our finances. Any additional savings will be put straight back into the club.
